| Fai Wing is very active in the art circle, which makes him both a master and an expert in most areas including painting, calligraphy, connoisseurship, and art appreciation. I want to focus on his paintings, which abide by the principle to be upfront and contemporary. It is most commendable with his innovative style of painting from the Lingnan School. His paintings are traditional and conventional, while refreshing and innovative at the same time. His skills are either originated from the Lingnan School or a new style of Hong Kong portrayal. His varied styles in paintings have provided a valuable foundation for academic research. |
