| the portrayal of plum blossoms could be varied among diff erent schools while both Wang Mian and Mr. Dong Xin are the most outstanding compared to the others due to their spectacular skills. Ink plums are usually the best in appearance and red plums are very diffi cult to portray. Yet we can get both from Fai Wing’s painting.
